Winning, J. Patrick, 1974, has opened the Winning Law Firm, LLC. Patrick has a BA in History and holds a Juris Doctor Degree from St. Louis University School of Law. Patrick currently serves as the President of the Missouri Baptist University Alumni Association and is a former member of the University Board of Trustees. Buschman (Ragusky), Linda, 1985, BA in English has returned to MBU to receive her secondary education teaching certificate in order to become an English teacher. Linda had been serving as the Director of Advancement for the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home. Linda was recently married to Larry Buschman and now resides in Innsbrook, Mo.

Carter, Andrew, 1987, was inducted into the Missouri Baptist University Athletic Hall of Fame on Nov. 9, 2007. Andy is the Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics/Director of Athletics at Newberry College in Newberry, S.C. Andy holds a BA in Business Administration from MBU and a MBA from Lindenwood University. Andy and his wife, Rena, have seven children.

Rice (Huenefeld), Angie, 1990, BSE in Music Education was involved in SpiritWing and worked for the admissions office (1990-95) during her time at MBU. Following graduation she attended Webster University to receive a Master of Music in Voice Pedagogy and graduated in 1993. She now works at Rockwood Summit High School as their choral director. She began working for them in the fall of 1995. She is married to Dave Rice, ‘87, BA in Social Sciences, and they have two children, Emily (age 11) and Jonathan (age 13).

Cruz (Harrelson), Angela, 1995, BA in Behavioral Science lives in Antioch, Tenn., with her husband, Alexis, and their two boys, Benjamin (age 7) and Joshua (16 months). Angela is a session singer in Nashville and has performed and recorded with artists including Kirk Franklin, BeBe Winans, David Phelps, Michael W. Smith, Russ Taff, Sandi Patti, Dolly Parton, Charlie Daniels, Natalie Grant, Avalon, plus many others. She is also currently traveling and singing with Travis Cottrell and women’s author/speaker, Beth Moore. She was a former member of the group Truth (1996-2000). Angela was a member of Spirit Wing and was in the musical Meet Me in St. Louis at MBU. Angela and her family are active members at Two Rivers Baptist Church in Nashville.

Meakins (Hults), Cheryl, 1995, is living in Arvada, Colo., with her husband, Mark, and their two children. Cheryl is an Independent Consultant for Taste of Home Entertaining. Hodges, Chad, 1996, just accepted the position of Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Wright City, Mo. Chad received his BA in Religion, was active in BSU and Ministerial Alliance, and served as manager for the Spartan Men’s Basketball Team. Chad, and his wife, Joann, have four children, Nathaniel (age 9), Abigail (age 7), Noah (age 5) and Rebekah (age 4).

Kimberlin, Keith, 1996, BS in Business Administration is Project Manager in the Drafting Department for American Steel Fabrication, Inc. Keith was a member of the Spartan Baseball Team and was selected to the All-American Team in 1988.
Burritt (Hendrick), Karis, 1997, BA in Communications is back living in St. Louis. She and her husband, Kevin, celebrated the birth of their second daughter, Savannah Joan, on May 8, 2008. “Anna” weighed in at 7lbs & 9oz. Big sister, Samantha (22 months), is doing her best to be helpful. Karis also has two step-sons that live in Ohio.

Hamilton, Shannon, 1997, resides in High Ridge, Mo., and works for Wachovia Securities in St. Louis. While at MBU she majored in Mathematics and minored in Information Systems. She was a four year member of the Spartan Women’s Softball Team, earning first Team All-American honors her junior year (1996), and Academic All-American for four years. Shannon also played soccer for MBU and was chosen as an Academic All-American. After graduation she served as the assistant softball coach for one year.

Plymale, Jeremy, 1997, BA in Religion and Business Administration serves as pastor of CrossHaven Church in O’Fallon, Missouri where he lives with his wife Amber and their children Carter and Jenna. Jeremy met Amber while completing his Masters of Divinity at Golden Gate Theological Seminary in California. After completing his degree they spent two years serving as missionaries in Malaysia. Ellison, Jamie (Lawrence), 2000, BSE in Elementary Education and Special Education and ‘04 MSE in Classroom Teaching is a Special Education Teacher/Softball and Track Coach at Francis Howell High School. Jamie is currently working on her Master of Science in Education in Educational Administration. She lives in St. Charles with her husband, Josh, and their daughter, Mackenzie, who celebrates her 1-year birthday in December. Jamie was a member of the Spartan Women’s Softball Team.

Inman (Mulcahy), Colleen, 2005, received her BS in Sports Medicine and in 2006 received her MBA and Certificate in Sport Management. Colleen and her husband, Doug, just celebrated the birth of their first child, Hallee Mae, born on September 10, weighing in at 7lbs, 1oz. Colleen serves as the Director of EXCEL Student Services at MBU.

Murray (Cash), Heather, 2005, received her BS in Behavioral Sciences. Heather and her husband, Andrew, have two daughters, Mikayla (almost 3 yrs old) and Jocelin (1 ½ years old). Mikayla came three months premature weighing only 2 lbs, 2oz, but has grown into a normal and healthy three-year old little girl. After working through this experience, Heather began her Masters in Social Work at St. Louis University in the fall of 2007. Upon finishing her degree she hopes to work in a hospital NICU ministering to premature babies and their families.

Giacomelli, Steven “Philip”, 2006, BM in Music Education is working as Apprentice Funeral Director at Wilson Mortuary in Salem, Mo. He had previously served as a vocal music teacher at Warrenton High School. Philip was a member of the Chorale, Chamber Singers, Allusion, Concert Band, MBU Ringers and Closer. Williams, Michael, 2006, earned his BA in English while at MBU. He currently works for State Farm Insurance in Poplar Bluff as a Financial Services Representative. He began there in 2003. He and his wife Sandy have two kids, Isaiah (age 10) and Daniel (age 9). They have begun work on planting a non-denominational church in Poplar Bluff called “The Exiles.” Through this church they hope to reach teens and young adults who refuse to fit the mold of the typical Southeast Missouri church.

Hon (Siener), Sarah, 2007 and Hon, Peter, 2006, were married on September 21, 2007. Peter has a degree in Business Administration and is now working at a CPA firm in Chesterfield. Sarah majored in Communications and is the Operations Manager for the Kirkwood Children’s Chorale. They currently live in Wildwood.

He graduated from there in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. A few years later he attended SIU of Edwardsville and left there in 1994 with a degree in Business and Marketing.

McKibbin, Clayton, 2008, BS in Mathematics works as a Freshman Counselor in the Office of Admissions at MBU. Clayton returned from a second straight summer project with Campus Crusade for Christ in San Diego, Calif. He continues to lead a Bible study and discipleship group for Campus Crusade during the school year and is active at Bethany Baptist Church in Maryland Heights, Mo. While a student at MBU, Clayton served in the Student Government Association, was in Chorale, Chamber Singers, In Charactre, the Math & Science Club and was active with Campus Crusade for Christ.
